Tommy Bahama is the Seattle-based manufacturer of casual, men’s & women’s sportswear, denim, swimwear, accessories, footwear and a complete home furnishings collection. The brand is owned by Atlanta-based Oxford Industries. Tommy Bahama is available at Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Sak's Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom, as well as resort locations around the world. There are over 80 company-owned Tommy Bahama retail stores nationwide, 13 of which include a Tommy Bahama’s restaurant & bar. In 2009, the Tommy Bahama Bar was opened at Yankee Stadium.

The men’s sportswear line includes Tommy Bahama Collection, Tommy Bahama Relax, and Tommy Bahama Denim; Women's products include sportswear, denim & swimwear. In addition to company manufactured offering of sportswear, they license home indoor & outdoor furnishings, bedding & bath, lamps, rugs, ceiling fans, outdoor fabrics, wall coverings, sunglasses, optical eyewear, watches, umbrellas, luggage, hats, & men’s and women’s fragrances. The brand also licenses international entities to manufacture sportswear & operate Tommy Bahama’s retail locations in Canada, Australia & Dubai.
Tommy Bahama launched its own brand of rum in 2007.[2] The line includes two varieties, White Sand, a light rum; and Golden Sun, an aged, dark rum. Both varieties are produced by R.L. Seale Distillery, which has been producing rum for more than 80 years in Barbados. Tommy Bahama Rum was awarded the Double Gold for Tommy Bahama Golden Sun and Gold for Tommy Bahama White Sands at the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The Tommy Bahama brand has been placed in: Couples Retreat, Meet the Parents (and “Focker’s” sequels) and 50 First Dates; as well as TV’s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Scrubs, Dexter, Psych and continually on character Sam Axe from USA Network’s Burn Notice, The Simpsons Movie & Forgetting Sarah Marshall. They were also mockingly endorsed in an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
In 2009, the brand signed a deal with Major League Baseball, to create limited edition collections of signature men’s camp shirts with customized graphics, team logos, landmarks and a genuine vintage style. The first shirt produced was the “2009 World Series” shirt; in 2010, they began production of camp shirts for each of the MLB teams.
